This week in Ponchatoula

Labor Day may be behind us, but the town’s calendar is just heating up. This week kicks off with a brand-new soft opening at Sonny’s, an art reception at Twin Steeples, and by Friday, downtown comes alive with Live After Five. The weekend brings Grandparents Day at Fireside along with plenty of volleyball and pickleball to keep things moving.

Add in auditions at Swamplight, the Chamber’s Business Expo, and the usual mix of yoga and bingo, and you’ve got a September week that feels anything but ordinary. Ponchatoula’s keeping the good times rolling—don’t blink or you’ll miss something.
