November 7th-13th
This week in Ponchatoula
Ponchatoula’s got a full weekend lined up — and it’s a good one. Antique Trade Days rolls back into town, filling the streets with treasures, trinkets, and plenty of “I probably don’t need this, but I have to have it” finds. Over at the Swamplight Theatre, Talking With hits the stage, and if that’s not your speed, the Anything Over Rice Cook-Off has comfort food covered.
There’s also a Walk for Hope and, of course, the city’s favorite Friday night soundtrack — Live After 5 — this time featuring The Chase Tyler Band. By midweek, the pace slows down with story time, stitching circles, and a glass (or two) of wine bingo.
It’s the kind of week that reminds you why Ponchatoula weekends are never boring — a little shopping, a little music, and a whole lot of community.
