With Thanksgiving upon us, it’s time to reflect on what we’re grateful for—especially our wonderful community here in Ponchatoula. While this holiday week might mean fewer events, there’s still plenty of cheer to go around! The big event to look forward to is Small Business Saturday—this Saturday—so let’s shop local and support our amazing small businesses. You can also get into the holiday spirit with Mandy Mae Fine Art’s “Angels Among Us” release and Revival Art House’s Holiday Open House on Saturday, plus a Pancake Breakfast with Santa on Sunday. It’s a quieter week, but still filled with fun ways to enjoy the season. Happy Thanksgiving, Ponchatoula!

🐾Ponchy Pets: Adopt Thomas!

Ellie is a small hound mix with long legs, around 30 pounds and shouldn’t get much bigger (although home girl loves her food), 11 months old, does okay in her kennel, and loves to cuddle on the couch.
Ellie came to us almost hairless from demodex. Shes completed her treatment and looks so much better. As long as she’s kept on flea/tick prevention, we don’t foresee any issues in the future.

Hats Off to History! Eleven buildings in Ponchatoula’s downtown are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. That's a lot of history per square mile!
