This week in Ponchatoula

Last week was the perfect pre-back-to-school blend of books, bingo, and backspins at the Roller Rink. We had wine tastings, dart battles, art camps, and yes—three book clubs in one week (Ponchatoula’s clearly in its literary era). But now, sharpen those pencils and pack those lunchboxes... it’s officially back-to-school week in 70454!

Even with the school bells ringing, the town’s still buzzing. We’ve got Zumba to shake off the first-day jitters, a Back to School Bash for our hardworking teachers (thank you, thank you 🙌), and an art opening at Twin Steeples to keep the creativity flowing. Plus, the library is keeping things fun with Super Saturday.

So while the kids head back to class, the rest of us can keep summer rolling just a little bit longer. Ponchatoula’s still got the fun—just with earlier bedtimes.
