Ponchatoula Pulse, April 9th

April 9th-15th, 2025

This week in Ponchatoula

Berries, beads, and a whole lotta hometown pride—it’s Strawberry Festival Week, y’all! 🍓🎪 If you can feel the buzz in the air, you’re not alone. We’ve been warming up with art nights, brunches, and wine tastings—but now it’s go time. The Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival kicks off this Friday, and the countdown is officially over.

Get ready for live music all day, every day, the Strawberry Festival Parade rolling through town on Saturday, and all the sweet treats you can carry. But the best part? Supporting our local farmers and non-profits who make it all happen. From strawberry treats and home-cooked food to handmade crafts, your dollars go straight back into the heart of Ponchatoula.

So grab your red, polish up those dancing shoes, and let’s celebrate everything sweet, sticky, and totally Ponchatoula. See y’all at the festival! 🍓🙌
